Committed to the country’s sustainable development , we have been implementing in Enel Peru  a series of projects to make the smart city a reality in Peru. Below, there are some of them:

Electric Mobility

In order to have a safe, non-polluting and efficient electric transport, Enel Peru  brought, for the first time to the country, Mitsubishi innovative electric vehicles (I-MIEV), which are not only 70% cheaper than traditional vehicles but also more environmentally-friendly as they do not emit pollutant gases.

Smart Meters

Enel Peru makes the city of the future a reality with these meters, which have measurement technology, data encryption, and remote automated control.

LED Lighting

We were the first to install LED street lighting  (more efficient than conventional street lighting) in the district of La Punta, which produces a more efficient lighting performance, with lower energy consumption (40% less consumption) and quality lighting.

Renewable Energies

In addition to leading renewable energy generation in the country with our hydroelectric power plants, Enel Peru launched Wayra I Wind Farm , Rubí Solar Plant and Ayanunga Hydroelectric Power Plant (currently under construction).
