Whether at home or at work, you should pay careful attention to the electrical risks[1] that may arise from not keeping electrical wiring installations in good condition.
Enel Peru recommends the following tips to prevent electrical risk:
- Inform of the existing risks in the workplace (signs), prepare detailed work instructions with the specific procedures to be followed, and train workers regarding electrical risks.
- Provide individual protection measures, e.g. the use of non-conductive materials in facilities, equipment and tools.
- Prevent flammable materials or corrosive environments from interacting with electrical wiring installations.
- Comply with Peruvian laws and regulations on the prevention of occupational risks, especially the Safety and Health Regulations for Working with Electricity.
