The Peruvian Government established that employers must implement an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and comply with other responsibilities, in accordance with Law No. 29783, Law on Occupational Health and Safety. This law has 9 principles, 103 articles, 7 titles, 3 final complementary provisions and 7 amending complementary provisions.
In addition, the Ministerial Resolution No. 111-2013-MEM/DM Health and Safety Regulations for Working with Electricity is a set of sectorial norms that determine the mandatory measures to prevent electrical hazards in the workplace.
