The following can be part of this group: real estate companies, companies with supplies whose contracting power is higher than or equal to 50 kW and institutions financially depending on the state (ministries, district councils, etc.).
The following can be part of the Free Customers group: customers with a consumption higher than 2500 kW, or those qualified as regulated customers with a consumption higher than 200 kW. They have to inform their supplier that they will choose the Free Customer option and acquire protection equipment and power limiters validated by the distribution company.

For Companies
For both procedures, you have to properly fill out the Customer Application and attach the requirements via e-mail to atencionfonoempresas@enel.com or visit our office located in Jr. César López Rojas 155 Urb. Maranga, San Miguel.
Once you submit the application, our project department will perform the technical evaluation to determine what your requirements are and send the corresponding budget. Upon payment of the budget and signing of the supply contract, our personnel will execute the appropriate works for the period required to complete the activities.
One piece of information that has to be registered in the Customer Application is the tariff. Tariff options for supplies higher than 20 kW in low voltage (220 volts) are the following: BT4, BT3, BT2 or BT5A; and in medium voltage (10000 volts) are MT4, MT3 and MT2. The monthly billing will be done according to the tariff option chosen by the customer.
You can also make the following requests:
- Supply service transfer within the same property;
- Supply service cancellation; or
- Information modification.

To request the suspension of single-phase and three-phase connections, you have to pay all your bills, pay for the disconnection cost, and pay for the consumption period between the last billing and the disconnection date. You also have to attach other requirements to your Customer Application; find the list here. For further information, contact your Commercial Executive. Remember that this application can only be made by the owner of the property.
To request a temporary disconnection, contact your Commercial Executive, indicating your customer number, the disconnection/reconnection day and time, and name and telephone of the contact person responsible for the customer. Remember that you can submit the application at least 72 business hours before the requested date. If the contact person indicated in the application is not found on the disconnection day, it will not be executed.
To change the company name, address and tariff, fill out the Customer Application form and attach a scanned copy of the documents required to it. This documents have to be sent via e-mail to atencionfonoempresas@enel.com. To learn more about the required documents, click here
Remember that you can change the tariff option only once over the validity period of such tariff option by meeting the minimum requirements for the consumption measurement of the new requested tariff option. This is provided for in Article 9 of OSINERGMIN’s Resolution of the Board of Directors No. 206-2013-OS/CD “Tariff Options and Application Conditions for End Users”.
For State Institutions
To apply for a new power supply, go to our office located at César López Rojas 155 - Maranga, 2nd floor, or one of our Service Centre, and submit the following documents.
New power supply for a property:
- Plain copy of the updated Registration Certificate issued by SUNARP or other ownership document;
- Plain copy of the legal representative’s ID;
- Plain copy of the legal representative’s power of attorney (Appointment Resolution);
- Plain copy of the RUC (Taxpayer Identification Number);
- Location suggested for the meter.
- Adjacent supply.
- Load chart indicating the estimated maximum demand, signed by an electrical engineer (for loads higher than 9.9 kW).
- Load entry schedule (for loads higher than 50 kW).
- Power, tariff, type of connection.
New power supply for public lighting:
- Plain copy of the legal representative’s power of attorney (Appointment Resolution).
- Plain copy of the RUC (Taxpayer Identification Number).
- Location suggested for the meter.
- Adjacent supply specifying the stimated maximum demand, signed by a collegiate electrician engineer (for loads over 9,9 kW).
- Number of meter.
- Copy letter of the Ornamental Lighting Project Review presented.
- Power, rate and type of connection.
- Authorization to install the supply on public roads.
New power supply for surveillance camera:
- Plain copy of the identity document of the legal representative.
- Plain copy of the legal representative’s power of attorney (Appointment Resolution)
- Plain copy of the RUC (Taxpayer Identification Number)
- Location suggested for the meter including where the meter goes and the location of the surveillance camera.
- Location suggested for the meter.
- Adjacent supply specifying the stimated maximum demand, signed by a collegiate electrician engineer (for loads over 9,9 kW).
- Power, rate and type of connection.
- Authorization to install the supply on public roads.
New light supply for traffic lights, sports fields and others
- Plain copy of the identity document of the legal representative.
- Plain copy of the legal representative’s power of attorney (Appointment Resolution)
- Plain copy of the RUC (Taxpayer Identification Number)
- Location suggested for the meter
- Location suggested for the meter.
- Adjacent supply specifying the stimated maximum demand, signed by a collegiate electrician engineer (for loads over 9,9 kW).
- Power, rate and type of connection.
The withdrawal can only be made if requested by the owner and to make the withdrawal of single-phase and three-phase connections, the following requirements must be met: keep the account up to date, make the payment of the withdrawal cost and make the payment of the period between the Last invoice and day of withdrawal. To request a temporary disconnection, contact your Commercial Executive, indicating the disconnection/reconnection day and time; name, telephone and email of the contact person responsible for the customer and to submit the payment of the associated bill.
To change the name, address and tariff, send the following documents:
If you are the owner:
- Application letter indicating the requirement, address, supply number, etc.
- Plain copy of the registration certificate issued by SUNARP (issued within three months of the current date).
- Plain copy of the identity document of the company’s legal representative or the owner.
- Copia simple del poder (Resolución de Nombramiento) del representante legal.
- Plain copy of the identity document of the legal representative of the company leasing the property.
- Plain copy of the Tax Identification Number (RUC) granted by SUNAT
If you are a tenant, you should also send:
- Power of attorney with legalized signature, through which the owner authorises the tenant to make changes in the power supply service assigned to his property.
- Copy of the lease agreement.
- Copy of the legal representative’s power of attorney.
- Plain copy of the identity document of the legal representative of the company leasing the property.
- Plain copy of the Tax Identification Number (RUC) issued by SUNAT, indicating the activity (business sector) of the company.

For Real Estate Companies
If you are a client of Enel Distribución Peru and want to obtain new light supplies for a real estate project (8 doctors plus), you must submit a feasibility request to be filled out. César López Rojas 155 Urb. Maranga, San Miguel.
The presentation of the feasibility request can be made by the owner of the property or by a third person duly authorized by the owner by means of a simple power of attorney.
In the case of requiring a smaller amount of supplies, you should go to the Enel Service Center.
The location of Boards / Meters
Prior to the entry of your application, you must ensure that you meet the following conditions to assist you properly
The boxes of connection, of taking, or other equipment have been:
- Be installed in a suitable place that complies with the provisions of the National Electricity Code.
- Be located in an accessible place, with easy and free access to respect the control by Enel.
To request new supplies
It is required to present the feasibility request along with the following documents:
- Summary of Total Loads Table and load entry schedule (signed by Collegiate Electrical Engineer)
- Electric plan of first floor with the LOCATION OF BANK OF METERS and the distribution of the bank in a visible area and of easy access for its measurement according to art. 172 - Electricity Concessions Law.
- Certificate of Urbanistic Parameters *.
- Sketch of location of the property, reference of the place and provide supply adjacent to the property.
Once we present our application, our technical evaluation area to identify the type of work that is required to meet your request, this is informed through a feasibility letter.
"Important note"
Before starting construction, you must take into account what is indicated in the feasibility letter and if a substantial reform is required, it is necessary to establish a service area for the installation of a substation according to Art. 95 of the Electricity Concessions Law and Art.3 of the Standard EC.030 of the National Building Regulation. You will find the day in payments for electricity consumption, in the case of having a supply on the premises.
For Tariffs
To know your tariff, check your bill or contract (if you are an Enel Free Customer) or contact your Commercial Executive.
The only way to make a tariff change is through the Commercial Executive, which can be identified by signing in on the website www.enel.pe or calling Fonoempresas (customer service for companies) at 517-1718.

Billing
Each month, your Enel electricity bill shows the expiration date together with the amount to be paid. If you want a copy, contact your Commercial Executive or access your digital bill.
If our technicians cannot register the reading of your power meter, Enel Distribución Perú is authorised to provisionally bill the average of your consumption for the last six months. If the reading is performed, the actual consumption will be adjusted and the billing of your provisional electric power consumption will be deducted from your bill.
If the reading of your power meter is not accurate, contact your Commercial Executive, which can be identified by checking your electricity bill or calling Fonoempresas at 517-1718.
In accordance with current regulations (Law No. 25844 - Electricity Concession Law), companies such as Enel Distribución Perú are authorised to cut off the supply, without prior notice, in the following cases:
Article 90. The concessionaires may order the immediate disconnection of the service, without prior notice to the user or intervention of competent authorities, in the following cases:
a) When duly notified bills and/or instalments for the provision of the Public Electricity Service, and their appropriate interests and arrears amounts, have not been paid for two or more months in a row.
b) When electric power is consumed without prior authorisation by the company or when the supply conditions are violated.
c) When the safety of persons or property is endangered due to malfunction of the facilities involved, whether they are under the administration of the company or owned by the user.

If you would like to change your company name, you should visit out offices located in located at César López Rojas 155 - Maranga, 2nd floor, and submit the following documents:
