With 17 years in our company, Martín Chuquillanqui leads the team that ensures that the 370 thousand streetlights in Northern Lima are in optimal conditions. Each pole may have one and two streetlights.

As a rule, we have 72 hours to solve failures (e.g. a change of streetlight). In spite of this, we are committed to restoring the service within only 24 hours. Martín, an electrician engineer from Peru’s National Engineering University (UNI) and father of two teenagers who share his passion for numbers, says that what he likes most about his job is solving the challenges that come up day after day. He has the necessary experience, since he used to be Head of Network Analysis and Product Quality.

One problem that he must often deal with is the huge number of car crashes against light poles. They not only affect the electrical service, but their fall could cause fatal accidents. Each year, Martin and his team solve about 400 cases; and you can help them be even more efficient. How? By reporting these accidents to Fonocliente (517-1717). Together we make it better!
