Gregorio Tello is a maintenance engineer and he is responsible for the team of technicians that comb the 52 districts of Enel Distribución Perú’s concession area to perform predictive maintenance. They check and verify that networks, equipment and transformers are in good conditions; for this, they use thermovision, a tool that allows them to detect high temperatures or bad contacts in electrical installations. In such cases, they report failures through a mobile app and, if necessary, an emergency team is sent to solve the problem.

“I like my work because I help make sure that clients receive a better service”, he says. Gregorio has two children, both of whom are dedicated to music. He has been part of our company since it belonged to the State. He began as an electrician, and today he ensures that you and your family are well taken care of. As August is a month with good wind conditions to fly a kite, he recommends not to do it near power lines, as kites could get entangled and cause accidents.
