Thanks to Enel Perú ’s effort to continue improving, Enel Generación Perú managed to become ―in 2003― the first power generation company in receiving ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification for all its processes and installations, thus enhancing the improvement in matters of quality, environment , occupational safety and health . Furthermore, since 2014, our management system has ISO 50001 certification, which promotes the efficient use of energy. In 2019, the ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System was certified and in 2020 it was migrated from the OHSAS 18001 standard to ISO 45001.
As part of this model, we implement, at Enel Generación Perú , different Quality Management activities directed to enhance the satisfaction of our stakeholders and increase the efficiency of our production processes. Some of the activities are:
Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities are performed during maintenance works on Santa Rosa and Ventanilla Thermal Power Plants, thereby ensuring the inclusion of quality criteria necessary to plan ―in an appropriate way― suppliers’ hiring, supply of goods, scheduling of activities, among others, and the on-site supervision of the progress of works according to the set Quality Control Plans.
Supplier Qualification Process is conducted to verify that the documentation and on-site activities of enterprises that want to work with Enel Generación Perú are made based on adequate standards in matters of quality, environment , and occupational safety and health.
Supplier Evaluation Process is performed to analyse the performance of contractors during the execution of their activities, taking into account aspects such as quality, environment , and occupational safety and health .
Materials and Spare Parts Management is directed to the quality control and monitoring of activities like production, assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance performed by suppliers and contractors.
All these activities are within the new version’s certified scope of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, which shows their ongoing monitoring and improvement.
