In July 2003, our 7 Hydraulic Power Plants: Huampaní , Moyopampa , Huinco , Callahuanca , Matucana , Chimay and Yanango formalised their commitment to quality processes by obtaining the certification of ISO 9001:2000 - Quality Management System.
In April 2004, we complemented our commitment to the environment and workers’ safety and health through the certification of ISO 14001:1996 - Environment Management System and OHSAS 18001:1999 - Occupational Health and Safety System.
Through the migration and improvements of the ISO 9001 standard, Enel Generación Perú takes its Quality Management System to the next level.
- Quality Control: Inspection and verification of processes and compliance with the established quality control plans.
- Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Traceability of measurements and control of processes, besides the planning of activities including supply of goods and services.
- Quality management: Incorporation of the concept of supplier evaluation and continuous improvement, which makes this process more transversal and integrates it more with transversal administrative processes of support and control. It changed from a corrective to a preventive phase.
In the first quarter of 2018, all these activities of the Hydraulic Power Plants and our Solar and Wind power plants migrated to the new version of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015. In 2019 we migrated to ISO 45001: 2015 and certified for the first time the ISO 37001: 2016.
