She is an expert in business legal and regulatory advice with more than 20 years of professional experience in the electricity sector. She holds a degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Lima as well a postgraduate in Tax Law from the same university. In addition, she read a master’s programme in Corporate Finance Law, a specialisation in Regulation of Public Services from the ESAN University, among others.
Throughout her career, she has worked in the Caballero Bustamente Firm, the National Superintendency of Tax Management (Sunat) and Telefónica del Perú SAA. In addition, she was a professor in the San Ignacio de Loyola University and a volunteer teacher in the Pachacutec Institute, where she has conducted workshops and seminars on legislation in the electricity sector.
She started working as Legal Adviser at Enel Distribución Perú in 2008. She is currently the Head of Legal Assistance in Infrastructure and Network and Market Peru, and is responsible for legal advice in business development and operations of M&A, legal advice in regulatory matters, management of significant law suits, among other responsibilities. At the same time, she is the Secretary of Enel Distribución Perú ’s Board.
