He is an electrician from the University of Callao, as well as a computer expert and the proud father of two-year-old Oriana Vanelly. It is his job to solve “emergencies” in the shortest possible time, and for an Enel client, Edwin Plácido explains, “an emergency is the lack of electric service”.

As a distribution maintenance engineer, he leads a group of 250 experts who, divided into 21 teams, solve an average of 800 cases each day. “We serve, we guide, we solve”, he says, and we do it 24 hours a day, whether it is Christmas, New Year or Mother's Day. “Your life is always busy”, we tell him. “But it's very nice”, he replies.

“Our teams go and check what the inconvenience is about. If it is Enel’s problem, they solve it; if it must be solved by the client, they give them all the necessary information and guide them so that they know what to do”. Do you have any questions or queries? Edwin invites you to call Fonocliente (517-1717).

This is his fifth year with us; he arrived in 2012 as an intern in the LV Emergency Department. “Lite” was the first word her princess said, he says. She is his light indeed.
