CLEMESÍ CENTRAL

Innovation that brings more clean energy to Peruvian families

Our facilities are optimized for higher performance

The Clemesí Solar Power Plant has technology that further leverages the weather conditions in the area where it is located. We are installing bifacial solar panels, which perform better since they capture solar energy from both sides, allowing us to optimize the facilities and generate more energy than monofacial panels.

Reducing CO2 emissions

With the commissioning of the Clemesí Solar Plant, along with the Wayra Extension Wind Power Plant, we will prevent the emission of 385,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Contributing to the energy transition process

This power plant will add green energy to the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN), strengthening it and helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In this way, Enel Perú seeks to continue leading the country's energy transition process.

Sustainability projects of the Clemesí Solar Power Plant

Financed by the European Investment Bank (EIB)

The EIB Global branch of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and SACE have joined forces to support the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency programs in Perú through financing instruments linked to sustainability, in order to mitigate the effects caused by climate change. To this end, the EIB has provided Enel with a sustainability-linked financing framework that is multi-country, multi-business, and multi-currency, and that is backed and guaranteed by SACE.

In this way, Enel Green Power Perú S.A.C. will develop wind and solar projects ranging up to 300 MW in Perú.
