Enel Perú employees donate to communal pots in San Juan de Lurigancho, Comas, and Carabayllo

  • This is the second donation that Enel Perú has made in favor of the “Adopta una olla” ("Adopt a pot") program, and this time it was thanks to the voluntary contribution of the company's employees, who had this initiative to provide support to the people most affected by the COVID-19
  • With this initiative, it will be possible to supply 11 communal pots for a month, equivalent to 1,700 daily servings for a total of 51,000 people.

 

Lima, January 6th, 2021.- Within the framework of the "Adopt a Pot" program, the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima delivered the food donated by Enel Perú employees to 11 communal pots in the districts of San Juan de Lurigancho (5 pots), Comas (1 pot), and Carabayllo (5 pots). This is the second delivery of donations made by the company through this the program.

Enel Perú employees raised more than S/ 40,000 which, along with the donations from the company, will allow the preparation and distribution of 1,700 daily food rations and will benefit 51,000 people for a month.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Enel Perú has been providing help and solidarity to the sectors most affected by this health emergency. It is in this way that it has carried out various initiatives in support of the national health system and the most vulnerable communities in the areas where the company operates.
