Lima, April 15th, 2020.- Through a collaboration agreement, Enel X granted a fleet of three electric cars to the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima. These vehicles will be used to transport medical personnel, deliver donations, and other necessary activities in the fight against COVID-19.

The vehicles will be at the disposal of the authority for the duration of the national emergency. They will carry out activities throughout the day and will be recharged at the facilities of Enel Peru, in San Miguel, where there are electroline stations.

With this action, Enel X contributes with sustainable transportation to the country's efforts to face this emergency. Electric mobility not only implies savings since it is up to ten times more efficient than gasoline or diesel. It also improves the quality of life, as they do not emit polluting emissions or noise.
