Monthly, low-cost plan seeks to promote a culture of prevention.
Lima, 10 December 2015 – Enel Distribución Perú, the electricity distribution company of the Enel Group in Peru, and insurance company Rímac Seguros signed an alliance so that customers can have access to an affordable cancer insurance.
According to data from the Peruvian Superintendency of Banking and Insurance, 180 in every 100 thousand people develop cancer—60% of them are women and 40% are men. Each year, 45 thousand new cancer cases are reported and 28 thousand people die because of it.
Miraculous Insurance
Thanks to the agreement between the two companies, Enel Distribución Perú customers signing the insurance will have an important economic support in case of cancer.
This special offer is aimed at people between 18 and 65, with no age limit for permanence. It will be effective from 1 December in any of the Service Centres of Enel Distribución Perú.
