Lima, July 25th, 2017.- With the objective of improving reliability in the electricity supply during the celebrations for Fiestas Patrias (Peruvian National Holidays), Enel Distribución Perú has prepared an action plan in case of eventualities on July 28th and 29th. The company will have a greater number of crews to attend any possible electricity emergency and will also implement greater safety measures in the energy service’s infrastructure located near the places where celebrations will take place.

The plan focuses particularly in places such as the Cathedral of Lima, Congress of the Republic of Perú, Government Palace, Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the airport, Police emergency center and media located in our concession area.

In addition, Enel Distribución Perú’s staff will work non-stop at the Transmission Substations close to the previously mentioned areas. This is how the appropriate operation of facilities will be monitored, in constant communication with the company’s Operation Center. Moreover, the crews of operators working with high, medium and low tension networks will be supported. All these measures have the objective of facing - efficiently and opportunely - emergencies that may occur when celebrating Peruvian National Holidays.
