People from Monobamba Received Health Assistance for Free During Campaign Organised by Enel Generación Perú

Lima, 26 October 2010 – They were also benefited with other services such as haircuts, psychology workshops, and counselling for parents and adolescents.

People with low resources living in the surroundings of San Cristobal de Marancocha, Unión Condorbamba and Las Orquídeas de Pacaybamba, located in the province of Monobamba (Junín) were attended by different medical specialists thanks to the health campaign organised by Enel Generación Perú with the support of the Red de Salud de Chanchamayo (Health Network Chanchamayo).

More than 250 health appointments were made. The services provided were general medicine, obstetrics, odontology, triage and pharmacy, anaemia and diabetes detection, and triglyceride measurement. Medicine was also handed out for free.
