Enel Distribución Perú Builds Up Its Emergency Team for New Year

Support will focus on strategic areas such as the Mesa Redonda and Las Malvinas commercial centres and the Historic Centre of Lima.

Lima, 31 December 2015 – In order to guarantee energy supply and security, Enel Distribución Perú has taken several measures, including preventive actions on its infrastructure since last November and the increase of the operational capacity of its teams.

Likewise, it has built up its technical team so that it can deal efficiently and timely with emergencies that may arise during Christmas and New Year holidays. It has also doubled security measures, as well as its combined work with local authorities and the number of security talks.

In addition to the strategic areas, Enel Distribución Perú considered important institutions located in its concession area:

  • The Congress of the Republic
  • The Government Palace
  • The Metropolitan Municipality of Lima
  • The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • The Jorge Chávez International Airport
  • The Emergency Centre of the Peruvian Police
  • Media facilities
