  • REVENUE: increased due to higher energy consumption, mainly because of free customers and tolls, as a result of the economic recovery following the first half of 2021, which was affected by the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, there was a positive impact due to the higher average price of energy sales. (+5.7%), which is mostly indexed to inflation (IPM), according to regulation.
  • EBITDA: grew due to higher revenues, which offset higher physical energy purchases (+4.3%) and an increase in the average purchase price (+7.1%), mainly associated with rate indexation and updates in tendered contracts. In addition, the increase in income offset higher operating and maintenance expenses associated with expenses for legal contingencies of an administrative nature from previous years and provisions for accounts receivable associated with financing programs for customers.
  • NET INCOME: increased due to a better operating result and a positive impact of the exchange rate with respect to a debt in dollars associated with the lease of the company's new facilities. These factors offset the increase in amortizations related to the implementation of investment plans in recent years.
  • DEBT WITH THIRD PARTIES: increased by 94 million soles, mainly associated with the investment plan and the refinancing of company debts.
  • CAPEX: increased by 46 million soles, due to the further execution of expansion and modernization works of our distribution and public lighting networks, in line with our objective of ensuring the quality and continuity of the electric service for our clients.
