Lima, May 20, 2021. Under the commitment to provide their knowledge and experiences at a professional level, twenty Enel Perú employees are participating voluntarily as teachers in the Industrial Electricity career at the Nuevo Pachacútec Institute.

The volunteering professionals from Enel dictate 43 hours of lessons per week through the institute's online platform, covering topics such as “Industrial Safety, Environment, and Sustainability”, “Development of Innovation Projects”, among others, that help students complement their education. The courses taught by Enel Perú’s volunteers comprise 33% of the students' weekly educational curriculum.

The Pachacútec Foundation (through the Nuevo Pachacútec Institute) and Enel Perú have a successful alliance of almost 15 years that has allowed, through this initiative and others, to offer quality education and a decent work perspective to young people, especially in the Industrial Electricity major, which has 94% job placement among its graduates.

This volunteer initiative is also part of Enel Perú's commitment to comply with SDG4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
