Lima, 4 July 2014 – From 2008, the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) calls companies with good corporate governance practices to list them in Good Corporate Governance Index (IBGC, by its initials in Spanish).
This index gathers the most liquid shares from companies with good practices, a system through which companies are managed and monitored.
The IBGC includes the compliance of principles such as social responsibility, confidence, equity, data fluidity and data trustworthiness for the stakeholders, with whom the company has contact. It is a useful tool for decision making related to investments in a market increasingly more efficient and transparent.
For the seventh consecutive year, Enel Generación Perú is recognised and takes part in this list for its outstanding management, together with Alicorp, BBVA Continental, Cementos Pacasmayo, Compañía de Minas Buenaventura, Compañía Minera Milpo, Credicorp, Ferreycorp, Graña y Montero and Refinería La Pampilla.
