Published on Friday, 25 July 2014

From 18 to 20 July, participatory art platforms will tour Bellavista, Cercado de Lima, Miraflores, Magdalena, Surco, San Borja and San Miguel.

Lima, 25 July 2014 – Two large-format canvases will tour different areas of Lima as a preview of the coming Enel Distribución Perú Week, an event organised by the Lima Art Museum (MALI) and Enel Distribución Perú. In its sixth edition, free admission to the museum will be offered from 25 to 31 July.

In order to bring the public closer to art, these canvases will be painted by the visitors with brushes and coloured painting. The itinerary will begin at the facilities of Enel Distribución Perú and then move on to Mall Aventura Plaza in Bellavista, Boulevard de Magdalena, Surco’s main square, the vicinity of Pentagonito and Plazuela de las Artes.

Each canvas will tour these spaces along with a photographer; pictures will be uploaded to an album on MALI’s Facebook fanpage.

This event is an unprecedented project in our country held with the support of Enel Distribución Perú, which contributes in this way to the access to culture and art by promoting visits to MALI, one of the most important museums in Latin America.
