Enel Distribución Perú Obtains Historical Result in Lights-Off Index

The lights-off index serves to measure the quality of street lighting.

Lima, 17 June 2016 – Enel Distribución Perú obtained in the first half of 2016 the lowest value (0.8%) in the audit of lightning failures, made by the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin).

The figure meant an important achievement for the company, since the tolerance set by the agency is 1.5%. The result was even more rewarding as this semester the audit was more demanding and allowed a maximum of only 38 points off; the limit used to be 49.

In the rural area, an excellent result of 0.2% was obtained, the tolerance being 2%.
