Residents of Huaral will improve their quality of life thanks to the recent electrification made by Enel Distribución Perú.
Lima, 21 January 2016 – Residents of the towns of Gramadales and Salinitas, located in Huaral, enjoy now the advantages of having electricity for the first time; recent electrification works were carried out by Enel Distribución Perú, including the installation of 208 power poles and 167 street lights.
This work will not only improve their quality of life, but also give them the opportunity to set up their own businesses.
A Beneficial Agreement
All this was possible thanks to an agreement between Enel Distribución Perú, Provias Nacional and Norvial, which allowed electrification projects to be executed in the shortest time. The Peruvian Ministry of Transport and Communications provided the right of way for the electrification of 650 homes.
The leaders of these towns welcomed the agreement and emphasised that electrification is necessary and vital for the progress of families, as it allows them to have access to further development and a better quality of life.
