Adjacent supply

Supply closest to the applicant's property, either on the right or left.

Affected grid

Grid owned by Enel that could be relocated due to a road map change made by third parties (district councils or individuals). According to Article 98 of the Electricity Concession Law, the expenses are borne by stakeholders or those making the change.

Agreement between parties

When the parties reach a mutual agreement on the claim, which is now settled and closed.

Appeal

Optional administrative action against the concessionaire’s decision. If there is no new evidence, the file will be transferred within 5 business days to OSINERGMIN, which will make a decision within 30 business days.

Appeal for reconsideration

Optional administrative action against the concessionaire’s decision. New evidence shall be submitted to reassess the claim and the decision will be made within 10 business days.

Application

Action by the user, holder of service or third party with legitimate interest brought before the concessionaire to obtain information on the electric service provision or to make a request involving no controversy between the parties.

Arrears charge

Charge applied from day 10 after the maturity of the unpaid bill. This rate is fixed by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.

Average billing 

Average billing occurs when reading the meter is not possible for any reason (meter inside the property, meter covered by materials or plants, etc.), and as a result the average consumption for the last 6 months is billed. After such period, the law requires us to disconnect the electric service.

Average consumption

Consumption calculated on the average use over the last 6 months based on actual readings. This type of consumption billing applies when the meter is not accessible (inside the premises, with fence or blind cover, covered by plants or other, etc.).
